Purpose

We publish concise educational material about whiskey for adults of legal drinking age. Articles are intended to explain categories, production and terminology—not to encourage consumption or facilitate alcohol sales.

Sources

Regulated definitions are checked against primary sources such as legislation, government regulators and recognized geographical-indication bodies. Where production choices vary, we describe tendencies rather than presenting them as universal rules.

Independence

Editorial content is not sold. Advertising, affiliate relationships or sponsored work will be labelled clearly. A commercial relationship will not guarantee coverage, a favourable conclusion or placement in an editorial guide.

Corrections

Material errors are corrected promptly. Substantial corrections will be noted on the affected page. Readers may send a correction with the page URL and supporting source through our contact page.

Responsible language

We do not frame intoxication as entertainment, encourage rapid or excessive consumption, or suggest alcohol provides health or social benefits. Tasting guidance emphasizes small measures, water and never driving after drinking.
